Coffee, tea and lunch
Coffee, tea and lunch is included in the registration fee and will be served free of charge to delegates wearing name badges.
Hotel Accommodation
As of July 1, 2010 it will be possible to book a hotel room at reduced rates online for the conference. In the registrationprocess for the EMWC 2011 you will be able to book a hotel at reduced rate. Should you need any assistance, please contact the Conference Secretariat, emwc@eurocongress.com.
Insurance
The Organising Committee of the 2nd European Medical Waste Conference, nor the Conference Secretariat accept any liability for personal injury, loss or damage of property belonging, or additional expenses incurred to conference participants either during the conference or as a result of delays, strikes or any other causes. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of health and travel insurance.
Language
English has been chosen as the working language for the conference.
During the conference we offer interpretation services. Professional interpreters will translate English and French contributions to the conference simultaneously.
Programme changes
The organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances.
Travel, visa and letter of invitation
Please check with the Dutch Embassy/Consulate concerning your visa regulations when making travel arrangements. The Conference Secretariat will send letters of invitation only to registered participants upon request. It should be understood that this letter is only to help delegates to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Applications for a letter of invitation should be received by the Conference Secretariat before January 1, 2011. The Secretariat will be able to send you a letter of invitation by post or e-mail. Please take this into consideration.
Applications received after January 1, 2011 will not be dealt with. Refunds cannot be made because of visa applications not being granted.
Weather
The Netherlands maritime climate means that the weather is usally mild.
The average temperature in March is 10 degrees.
